Injury Free Nova Scotia

This is a provincial coalition committed to the achievement of an injury free Nova Scotia. Members seek to create change through innovation, awareness, and advocacy efforts that will ensure a safer and more secure environment for all Nova Scotians. They take action in the following areas:

  • advocate for legislation and public policy focused on preventing injuries
  • increase public awareness about the impact of injury through media strategies, public presentation, educational materials, and consultations with three levels of government
  • coordinate advocacy efforts among injury prevention groups in Nova Scotia.
